This Indenture, made the twenty-second day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred Between John E. Davison and Eda M. Davison his wife of the Township of Knox, County of Jefferson, and State of Pennsylvania Parties of the first part, and Martin Syphrit of the Township of Knox, County of Jefferson and State of Pennsylvania party of the second part, Witnesseth, that the said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of the sun of One Hundred Dollars lawful money of the United States of America, unto them well and truly paid by the said party of the second part, at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents, do grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release, convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever All that certain piece or parcel of land Situate in the Township of Knox, County of Jefferson and State of Pennsylvania. Bounded and described as follows: to wit;

Beginning at a post the South east corner of the Church lot it being the North-east corner of the lot herein described and running South 15 degrees East along the Knoxdale Road Ten and 4/10 perches to a post.
Thence West through the lands of the party of the first part Sixteen perches to a post;
Thence through the lands of the party of the first part North 15 degrees West Ten and 4/10 perches to a post on line of B. J. McCann at the South West corner of the Church Lot;
Thence East along the said line Sixteen perches to the place of beginning.

Containing one acre, more or less and is a part of a larger tract of land which was conveyed to the party of the first part by Samuel P. Davison and wife by deed dated the 3rd day of May A.D. 1897. Which said deed is recorded in the Office for recording of Deeds &c, in the county of Jefferson and State of Pennsylvania in deed book, Vol. 85 page 172. reference thereunto first being had the title to the same will more fully and at large appear.

Together with all and singular the improvements, ways, water, watercourses, rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof; and, also, all the estate, right, title, interest, property, claim and demand whatsoever, of the said parties of the first part, in law, equity, or otherwise however, of, in and to the same and every part thereof: to have and to hold the said herein before described piece or parcel of land with hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned, and intended so to seal, with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, forever, and John E. Davison and Davison his wife said parties of the first part, for themselves their heirs, executors and administrators, do by these presents, covenant, grant and agree to and with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, that they the said parties of the first part their heirs, all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described and granted, or mentioned, and intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, against them the said parties of the first part, and their heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever, lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof, shall and will warrant and forever defend.
In Witness Whereof, the said parties of the first part have to these presents set their hand and seals.

Received, the day of the date of the above Indenture of the above named Martin Syphrit the sum of One hundred Dollars, lawful money of the United States being the consideration money above mentioned in full.

Jefferson County SS On this 26th day of December A.D. 1900 before me, a Justice of the Peace in and for the said County and State personally came the above named John E. Davison and Eda M. Davison and acknowledged the foregoing Indenture to be their act and deed, and deed and desired the same to be recorded as such. She the said Eda M. Davison being of full age, and by me examined separate and apart from her said husband, and the contents of the said Indenture being made fully known to her declared that She did, voluntarily and of her own free will and accord, sign and seal, and, as her act and deed, deliver the same, without any coersion or compulsion of her husband.
